I ordered these a few times already. The last two batches had a distinctly different smell than the ones before, they basically usually smelled like normal bully sticks. The last two smelled like rotten meat, with the very last one being so pungent I had to return the product to you. I just received the new bag - the smell is fainter but still one of rotten meat. And this is not the case for your straight bully sticks. They just don't smell like that, at all. the braided ones also don't look fresh at all compared to what they used to. I don't know what went wrong with the handling or preservation of the braided sticks, but something went wrong. Your customer service told me it was "normal for bully sticks to have a smell". It's not, not that smell. They also come in way different shapes and sizes than before. Not like "normal variation for natural products", some are twice the size of others. Basically the product quality is not the one it was a year ago, but the price is still the same (high-end price for bully sticks). And I don't think you want to realise that. I will just go for the straight ones in the future or find another company altogether. Thank you for the year before, these were amazing products that I felt were safe to give to my dog.
